Construction Process
Providing Everything You Need
Pool Excavation
This is the first step in the pool construction process. After we have finalized all of the plans, and you have approved them we begin the excavation process. As you can see, this is a beached entry pool which is why one side will be more shallow than the far end.
Plumbing and Equipment
The plumbing for each one of our pools is custom designed so that it operates at peak performance and it keeps it crystal clear. We always have a licensed plumber come to the site to install and inspect the equipment.
Structural Steel
Structural Steel is the steel reinforcement structure for the shell of your pool to give it added strength per the engineering plans. It consists of a series of bars placed horizontally and vertically specifically engineered for your pool design requirements
Electric & Gas
Our local certified electricians will trench and install electrical conduit/wire from the house's main electrical box to the equipment and all other locations specified on the plan.
Gunite
Shotcrete is concrete that is shot through a high-pressure hose to create the shell of your new pool.
Upon completion, it is required that the homeowner lightly water the concrete 2 times per day to allow the concrete to cure slowly.
We will then need to wait another 5-7 days before we can begin the next step to allow the concrete to cure properly.
Tile & Coping
During this stage of the building process, we will install tile coping around the pool edge and any water features such as waterfalls, lights, deck jets, etc.,
Decking
Depending on whether you choose concrete or pavers. This is really when the customization of your pool comes to life.
Pool Surfacing
After applying the finish it requires 24 hours to cure before we come back and perform an acid wash. Once we complete the acid wash, we will start to fill the pool up with water.
Fill it up!
It is almost time to enjoy your pool. Just a few more finishing touches with the pool chemicals and you will be ready to enjoy your oasis.
